Beads and Babes
I was admiring some of Yayoi Kusama's work one day. And I thought to myself "what can I do with a single red dot?" I wanted to create something simple and abstract. And I was sure I wanted the earrings to not be identical, but complementary. I named them Kyoto after reading that Yayoi attended art school in Kyoto. I have never been to art school myself but I feel like when I'm in the process of designing, I'm in my own personal form of art school as well.
Measurements: ~9 cm from top of hook to bottom of earring.
Hooks are 14K gold-filled. Made with TOHO 11/0 beads.
